Kai Po Che has been one of the most awaited films this year. Therefore if you ask, will it live up to its plug that it’s created over the past few weeks? Then my answer is a unambiguous yes.
The Story is analogous to the plot within the book “3 mistakes of my life” though with many changes. 3 friends in Kai Po Che, each represent one aspect of India — the capitalist (Rajkumar Yadav as Govind Patel), the political (Amit Sadh as Omkar Shastri) and the emotional (Sushant Singh Rajput as Ishaan Bhatt) who are attempting make a mark for themselves in Gujrat.
‘Kai Po Che‘ is crammed with such beautiful moments; however the story does not loiter on this affability. The earthquake, an exhilarating India-Australia test-series, followed by the devastating Godhra massacre and the riots of 2002 colors our protagonists’ friendly relationship. Block by block, the script builds up the tempo, till the climax delivers its biff. You’d have to have a heart of stone not to be enslaved by the film’s intense culmination.
Kai Po Che reminds us of another largely fantastic approximation of India — Mani Ratnam’s bombay, a melting pot of culture and boiling communal tensions. A movie that resorted to a Utopian ending when showing tidiness facing off one community against another, through strategic character varieties in an exceedingly example of India.
Abhishek Kapoor and Chetan Bhagat pull this off with bracing restraint and stylish delicacy and ceaselessly keep us at the sting of the seat with a compelling, unpredictable storyline that’s production with the stress associated volatility of an India torn between capitalists, politicians and dreamers.
Kapoor has return leaps and bounds from his last endeavor “Rock On”. Script is incredibly engaging at all times, never within the motion picture you are feeling missed. Music is incredibly soothing however keeps you soliciting for more.
Background music by Hitesh Sonik deserves a special cite because the background music elevates the texture of the film to a full new level. Performances wise there aren’t any complains, every and each character has done their role to perfection. Be it Shushanth’s Aggresion or Rajkumar Yadav’s resilience or Amit’s cognitive content each frame may be a treat to observe. Amrita as Shushant;s sister appearance very loveable. However RajKumar Yadav’s performance is that the one that shines through the foremost. Anay Goswamy’s terrific camerawork enhances the director’s vision intuitively.
For me it’s a 8/10 and a must watch film with all your dear once & pals. Rush to the theater near you to watch Kai Po Che.
After watching the movie & read almost all the reviews about the movie Ek Tha Tiger, I have came to the conclusion to write my own review about the big Eid release. After the back to back Eid release of Wanted, Dabangg & Bodyguard; everybody is expecting something big from both Salman Khan & Yash Raj banner.
Ek Tha Tiger’ looked very promising prior to its release and the film does entertain you to an extent but as per the promo released by the production house, Yash Raj, I was expecting something more.
Ek Tha Tiger is a romantic thriller that revolves around the story of a Trinity College scientist, suspected of selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan. The Indian government sends a secret agent, codenamed Tiger (Salman Khan) to find out about the professor’s activities. Soon he met the ever gorgeous Katrina Kaif (Zee or Zoya) & during the first half he fall in love with her. Tiger is constantly reminded of his duties by Gopi (Ranvir Shorey) during the first half.
Well I don’t want to make any statement about how brilliant Salman Khan act during the first half, because as we all expected he has done few awesome action stunts during the first half-an-hour of the movie. On the other hand, Katrina proves that she is no more just a pretty face of Bollywood; she has done few mind-blowing action sequences along with Salman Khan during the second half of the movie. I have to admit that she has done full justice to her character & acting skills have developed a lot, so as her hindi enunciation.
