A New Beginning with Back Dog – Part Two
I quickly grab her hand & pulled her towards the private dining area. She was in shock by this behavior of mine. Even before she asked me anything, I replied to her that, one of my nagging friends was approaching & I don’t want to leave you here like this. She smiled.
Then we approached towards the lawn area of the restaurant to make sure no one was there to disturb us. I politely asked her, “Why are you so upset?” she slowly replied, “my boyfriend dumped me for another girl” (well that was one of the oldest & stupidest of reason to become upset). I replied her “I’m sorry”
Just to distract her I offered her another glass of Black Dog, as I knew she enjoyed the first one. The aroma of the Black Dog scotch is like – Matured wood, toasted malt, mild honey sweetness, delicate butterscotch bordering on cream, with floral nuances that emerges at the end. I asked her while sipping our drinks;”would you like to go for a long drive? She instantly replied stop flirting with me, I’m hurt”. I said, “Don’t blame me; it’s all your beauty which forces me to say such things”. She blushes.
Then I noticed Akshay was calling me on my cell, initially I though of not picking, but then again, I had to, else they were start searching & will definitely catch us here. I asked her for a minute & called her from a distance.
Akshay was screaming on me like hell, I said I had an emergency call from one of my old school friend, so I am already out of the restaurant. He felt sorry that the perfect day was ruined by this bad news. I was wreckedly smiling. But as soon as I hung up the phone, I saw Akshay stood right before me…
He screamed at me “what the hell is going on?”
